Gut Health
Figure out what is bothering your gut - and what to eat to feel better
Bloating, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, and unpredictable stomach aches can make eating feel complicated.
Instead of giving you a long list of foods you’re supposed to avoid, I help you figure out what may be contributing to your symptoms and develop a customized approach to eating that works for your body.
We’ll review your symptoms, eating patterns, lab results, lifestyle, and health history to identify potential triggers and build a plan that helps you feel better without an overly restrictive diet.
Depending on your needs, we may work on fiber, hydration, meal patterns, food triggers, restaurant choices, ingredient identification (food additives), digestion, food sensitivities, and other factors that influence digestive health. The goal is not simply to eliminate foods. It is to help you understand your gut, expand the foods you can comfortably eat, and feel more confident navigating restaurants and food choices each time you eat.

1:1 Nutrition Counseling
The best way to tackle gut issues is through nutrition counseling sessions, one appointment at a time, to talk through your specific GI and health challenges. We work together to find identify what triggers your symptoms, and develop customized strategies to help you reduce symptoms, gain confidence around food, and know what works best for your body. These sessions are highly personalized and can include labs, additional testing, and coordination with your healthcare provider, so you get the support you need for change.
I do accept several Health Insurance plans, as well as self-pay options for 1:1 Nutrition Counseling. Many plans will allow you to pay for 1:1 Nutrition Counseling through your HSA.
